Mount Argus St Charles exhibition vandalised

The permanent exhibition dedicated to St Charles of Mount Argus and located at the rear of the main Altar in Mount Argus Church in Dublin was vandalised on Friday morning last. Some important items were stolen in the raid. Glass fronts on some exhibits were also broken. In the course of the robbery the broadcast system for Internet masses via Church Services TV was also damaged. For this reason there has been no transmission of ceremonies since Friday last 12th August. Repairs to the service are expected to be completed on Monday 15th August. We regret the loss to the Passionist Community, Mount Argus Parish and Parishioners and to the faithful viewers who are unable to view ceremonies on-line until Monday next.
