7:00am Services Request

Tuesday, March 1st, 2011

Below is a comment from one of our viewers. Your comments and opinions matter to us. So please feel free to comment at any time.

Hello there

Firstly, thanks for all you’ve done in making the Mass and other
services available.

I was just wondering Is there any chance of getting linked up with
someone offering something before 7.00 am? I’m thinking of something
like morning prayers for the Divine Office?

Dear B

Many thanks for getting in contact with us we always appreciate any feedback our viewers have. We agree with your suggestion about someone offering a service before 7:00am. If you know of someone who holds services before 7:00am we would be very interested in hosting them. We will certainly pass your suggestion on to the churches already online.
Kind regards

Recording request for Mount Argus

Monday, February 7th, 2011

Hi there
We have watched your streaming on line quite a bit, especially in Mount Argus. I am wondering how long/if you keep copies of the streaming for any of the services? we got married in Mount Argus on Sept 18th 2010 and would love to know if there was any possibility of seeing some of our Wedding Service. I know it’s a few months on, but any help would be appreciated.

Best wishes,

Hi E

Many thanks for your comment. Congrats on your wedding last year. I am glad that you look in on the live streaming and in particular Mount Argus who are always very supportive of their online attendees.

In answer to your query – we don’t currently record the live services. This is a new technology that we are currently developing and hope to have available in a matter of weeks. Which is unfortunately too late for your Wedding.

European Year of Volunteering 2011

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

The majority of people we at work with in Pastoral Councils and on other committees in the Churches are volunteers. Everyday we are reminded how volunteering is the life blood of both our churches and other community organizations. So today we would like to highlight the 2011 European Year of Volunteering.

The EU has designated 2011 as the European Year of Volunteering, in recognition of the important role voluntary work plays in European society.

In giving the European Year 2011 to Volunteering (EYV2011), the European Union is acknowledging the importance of volunteering in creating a more democratic, caring and responsible society. The European Year will raise awareness about the contributions of, and the challenges faced by, millions of volunteers across the EU, whose efforts help to create a more democratic, caring and responsible society. In the European Union, almost 100 million citizens of all ages invest their time, talents and money to make a positive contribution to their community by volunteering in society organisations, youth clubs, hospitals, schools, in sport clubs, etc.

Recording Request for Armagh Cathedral

Monday, January 24th, 2011

Hello, my name is J_ and my grandfather was buried in Armagh Cathedral on **nd **** 2011 at 12pm. I myself was present at the service, however, several of my cousins were abroad in Australia and were able to watch the service online due to the fantastic service provided by this website! For this, i commend and thank you for making this possible.
Since then, others members of my family have asked is it possible for them to see the service again for example via replay or by dvd? I understand the website provides a live stream but i was wondering are any of the services able to be replayed or available on dvd?
I would be very grateful if you could assist me in this matter.
Thank you

Dear J_

My condolences on the death of your Grandfather. As you are stated above the current services on the web site are for Live streaming of church services only. We are currently developing the software and technology to allow the recoding of these services but unfortunately this will not be available for Armagh Cathedral until later in the Spring.

Kind Regards

Better Together!

Friday, November 26th, 2010

On the 25th November 2010 ChurchServices.TV was invited together with other Irish charities, clubs and associations working in the Community Services Sector to the Better Together !Awards hosted by RTEs Mary Kennedy.

The Better Together! campaign aims to show you how you can make a difference by getting involved in community and voluntary activity. Videos entries were made on the website that showcase the work of some of the thousands of charities, clubs and associations that are active across Ireland.

After a couple of weeks of nothing but bleak news on the Economic front the Better Together Awards ceremony was just what the Doctor ordered. Deirdre Garvey of the Wheel was delightful and Mary Kennedy a perfect hostess.

The Winners can be found and I would encourage everybody to take a look at their award winning videos.

You can find Church Services TV entry – here!

Watching from the office or organisation

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

Over the past few weeks we have had some emails from people who were having difficulty watching from their offices or from within their organisations.  We have investigated the issue and put in place a fix for this.

Now you should have no difficulty in viewing from your desk or laptop.

If this problem persists you can email us to look into it for you at
